WHAT IS PRODUCT DIVERSION?

Although you have probably witnessed product diversion, 9 out of 10 consumers are unaware of what product diversion really is. Diversion is when products are sold by “unauthorized” professional and retail outlets. Only authorized resellers are allowed to sell genuine Norvell products and equipment. Authorized resellers include Professional Tanning Salons, Day Spas, Authorized Online Resellers, and Authorized Professional Beauty Outlets. But you might come across a few bottles in your local supermarket, drugstore, online or at a discounter. Salon professional products you find outside of an authorized reseller are considered to be “diverted”. The most common type of diversion are products being sold in the internet.

WHY IS DIVERSION BAD?

Diverted products are many times counterfeit, contaminated, old or expired products that may not be safe to use. This means if you buy our products in a supermarket, drugstore, online discount site, or any other outlet other than an authorized reseller, we cannot guarantee that it is an authentic Norvell product, nor that will perform as intended. Norvell cannot guarantee the authenticity, age, or efficacy of products sold outside of legitimate distribution channels.

WHERE DOES DIVERSION OCCUR?

Diversion occurs when products are found in any outlet other than a tanning salon. These outlets often include websites, eBay retailers, discount stores, drugstores, grocery stores, flea markets, etc.

Most diversion occurs through clandestine efforts of the diverter to trick our distributors into selling them wholesale products.
